OUR BACKGROUND

Jadec was founded in 1991 by Evan Peters.
 

With over 32 years of experience, we specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of turnkey conveyor systems in the Food Processing Industry.

 

The Jadec team is made up of a number of friendly, hardworking and skilled employees with various roles and responsibilities within the company. Whether it's sales, design or operations - everyone works together to assist our clients and prospects to ensure that they receive excellent service and high-quality products.

INDUSTRY OVERVIEW

We are a leading supplier and manufacturer of conveyor systems in this industry - serving customers across South Africa, the African continent and countries abroad.

 

With our expertise in the Food Processing Industry, we are able to manufacture conveyor systems for the following sectors: 

 

  • Abattoirs, red meat, poultry and fish processing plants 

  • Ready meals (fresh & frozen) and processed meat

  • Fresh produce processing, pack-house and dairies

  • Bakeries and confectioneries

  • Cereal, grain and nut processors

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

We manufacture a wide range of conveyor systems such as Modular Belt Conveyors, Roller Conveyors, Woven Belt Conveyors, Overhead Conveyors and Metal Detector Conveyors. 

 

Our primary material of construction is Stainless Steel Grade 304 as this is most suitable for wet applications and the rigorous cleaning and sanitation requirements of the food industry.

 

Jadec also offers value-added services to improve the operation of hygienic conveyor systems which include: assessment and modification of existing equipment, custom fabrication, installation, maintenance, project planning and management

OUR FACTORY

Our factory performs the key value added processes required to fabricate, machine, assemble and complete factory acceptance tests. 

 

The machinery in our facility includes: 

  • 200 Ton x 3m wide CNC Pressbrake 
  • 3m x 12mm Guillotine, Bandsaw and Toothed blade cutting machines 
  • Radial arm and pedestal drilling machines 
  • Knee type milling machine (700mm daylight) with 3 axis digital readout. 
  • Lathes with 2 axis digital readout. 
  • High frequency TIG welding machines 
  • Heavy duty MIG welding machines 
  • Hydraulic punch and an assortment of specialised equipment.
